From Junction 27 on the M5 Motorway it is just 30 minutes from Witheridge. Leaving the motorway at junction 27 take the A361 North Devon Link Road towards Barnstaple, which will quickly bring you to the market town of Tiverton. Leave the A361 dual carriageway by turning first left at the roundabout. Skirt around the edge of town by turning right (Kennedy Way) at the next roundabout. Passing Safeway's Supermarket on your left take the first right turn after you cross over the River Exe. Look out for the sign for the B3137 Witheridge road, second turning on the left (Long Drag Hill). Follow this road for 10 miles, through Withleigh and Nomansland. Carry on until you enter the village of Witheridge. As you drive through the village you will find the Mitre Inn on the right hand side of the road just before the village square.
