Andy and Barbara would like to welcome you to The Mitre Inn.

Situated on the Two Moors Way in the lovely village of Witheridge, the Mitre Inn, first built in the sixteenth century as a coach house, is now a Grade Two listed building situated midway between Dartmoor to the South, and Exmoor to the North. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and provides all year round Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

In its Devon Social Awards 2007, The Devon Social Group, which organises many different types of activities and evenings out for people in Devon awarded the The Mitre Inn Gold Status which Barbara and Andy were delighted to receive.

There is a full licensed bar serving an excellent selection of beers, wine and spirits, including local Real Ale, and a restaurant.

Laundry facilities can be provided at a small charge for walkers of the Two Moors Way if required.

The hours listed on the site are seasonal spring/summer hours.

Monday 5.30pm - 11.00pm

Tuesday to Friday 12.00 - 2.30pm, and 5pm - 11.00pm

Saturday 12am to 3pm, and 5pm - 11pm

Sunday 12.00 - 3pm, and 6pm - 10.30pm

Last orders for meals is 9.30pm on a weekday, and 9pm on Sunday.
